Our MissionWe are dedicated to improving and promoting the sport
of fly fishing in Nevada. We promote and encourage the conservation of game fish,
especially wild trout, through the betterment of streams, lakes, and rivers everywhere.
We encourage and assist our youth to become fly fishers and true sportspersons.

Annual Fish Rescue - annually TMWA shutdowns their diversion ditches for maintenance and we are called to duty by NDOW to rescue the fish from these ditches. Have you helped? Check out this link to see what we have rescued from the ditch in the past.
This second collection of 2007 will begin on November 17. We will rescueing fish
from certain death in the Washoe ditch.

October 2007 - Upper Truckee Fish Survey
These were a couple of the SPECIAL specimens we collected. These fish were
returned to the river to continue their amazing growth. Do you want to know where?

| Each winter we also send volunteers into the schools to help with the Trout in the Classroom project. |
| |
| There are other opportunities to volunteer with NDOW. The volunteer website requires a login name and password. |

| In 2003, the Board of Directors commissioned the building a unique Macro Invertebrate and fly tying display. The display is currently
at the Verdi Nature Center and Library. |
